After more than 15 years of work, we are proud to point out that we have managed to fulfill another, perhaps the most challenging task so far. We received a request from the Lola company to transport cargo 5m wide from Belgrade to the Kazakh city of Ekibastus in the Pavlodar region. CSLOG therefore became the first Serbian company that managed to transport cargo with a width of 5 meters on the route from Serbia to Kazakhstan.
The whole process lasted almost 3 months, of which 2 months were needed for planning, preparation and obtaining all the necessary permits, and the transport itself was completed in 24 days.
The route had a total length of 14,000 km and the escorted convoy moved along the following route: Serbia - Romania - Ukraine - Russia - Kazakhstan.
The biggest challenge was at the border between Russia and Kazakhstan, where the permit capacity of the Olahovka border crossing was 5.20 m, and at the border itself 4.80 m. We solved the problem by hiring a driver and a truck crane that transferred the load over the barrier and loaded it back onto the truck. The whole process was carried out without any problems, and this special cargo was safely transported to its destination in Kazakhstan.
At the beginning of 2016, another similar project is planned, only with even larger dimensions. Load by load, transport by transport, CSLOG builds its portfolio and reputation and does not give up. Just like the ant that symbolizes the ideology of our company.
